Self Isolation Tips

Hello Hammersmith. We hope you are well and staying busy!

The Kings Mall team have compiled a list of tips to help you get through this period of #SelfIsolation:

  1. Wash your hands

We know it’s obvious, but make sure to wash your hands for 20 seconds regularly. Not sure how long 20 seconds is? Here are some suggested songs you can use. If you find yourself out the house and without hand sanitizer, Kings Mall have a public WC on-site with plenty of soap and hot water – we’ve got you covered!

  1. Keep busy!

Create a new daily routine that prioritises looking after yourself. You could try reading more or watching movies, having an exercise routine, trying new relaxation techniques, or finding new knowledge on the internet. Try and rest and view this as a new if unusual experience, that might have its benefits.

  1. Find new ways of socialising

Be in touch with other people regularly on social media, e-mail or on the phone, as they are still good ways of being close to the people who matter to you.

  1. Treat yourself

Try and maintain as much normality and try and treat yourself on the weekends! There are all sorts of ways to do this remotely, for example, try ordering a Friday night delivery from Wasabi, or picking up a Saturday morning coffee from Costa.

  1. Keep calm and donate

More than ever, the Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank needs your donations to help feed those who are most vulnerable in society. Unsure what you can donate? See the below list:
